In a semibatch reactor, we have the following mixed-phase reaction:

A(liq) + H_{2} → P(liq).

Determine the time to reach 80% conversion and flow of reactant as a function of time given these operating conditions:

Pressure = 3 bar, N_{A0} = 150 mol, -r_{A} = kC_{A}P_{H2}, k = 0.0074 bar^{-1} min^{-1}

A catalytic reaction takes place in the liquid phase of an isothermal semibatch reactor:

A → C r_{A} = -C_{A}C_{B} k = 0.25 L/(mol min)

Initially the reactor contains 2700 L of a solution whose concentration of A is 20. mol/L. The concentration of catalyst B in the reactor initially is zero. Starting at t = 0, a solution containing 0.05 mol/L of B is fed to the reactor at a flow rate of 12.5 L/min. How many moles of product C are in the reactor after 200 min?
