Drag Force on a Falling Object
This simulation displays the velocity of a falling object versus time. Select from three preset objects or a “Custom” object, each with unique drag coefficient, mass, and cross-sectional area. The velocity is plotted versus time, and the animation continues until the object hits the ground or the skydiver has dropped 1500 m.
