Blasius Solution: Screencast
Shows how the simplified Navier-Stokes equation for two-dimensional laminar flow can be transformed to a solution that can be solved using numerical analysis.
We suggest that after watching this screencast, you list the important points as a way to increase retention.
Important Equations:
FOR THE FOLLOWING SECTION, YOU MAY CHOOSE TO EITHER DISPLAY EQUATIONS USING LaTeX CODE, OR PLACE AN IMAGE OF THE EQUATION USING IMAGE ELEMENTS. EXAMPLE OF LaTeX CODE BELOW. PRESS “PREVIEW CHANGES” TO SEE WHAT THESE EQUATIONS WOULD LOOK LIKE
To write an equation as a standalone block of text, use a backslash and left bracket before the equation, and a backslash and right bracket and after the equation. We refer to this as “display” mode.
\[ \frac{1}{2} \pi = 2 n + 3 \]
To write an inline equation, use a backslash and left parentheses before the equation, and a backslash and right parentheses after the equation.
For example, \( 1 + 1 = 2 \) will be in-line with the text.
